"Breakfast disappointing compared with past experiences, no tomato juice, no black pudding, eggs were moderately hot. Room excellent."

"Wonderful stay! Comfy room, the most pleasant hosts, easy parking, easy walk to restaurants/hiking trails. 10/10 stay!"

"Great location and wonderful clean rooms "

"Room was older style but very clean and comfortable, parking right near our room."

"Clean and friendly staff"

"Very good breakfast"

"For a 4 star hotel this was appalling. During our 3 night stay we didn’t see one member of hotel staff. No reception (self checkin & out) room was dirty I had to clean the toilet when we arrived and the cups but there was no one to tell. Rang reception several times no one picks up. Went down whole area in darkness. You would have thought the hotel was closed. Dinning room closed breakfast in attached bistro, thank goodness this was lovely. "

"Beautiful well kept castle, comfortable room, great service and delicious food. The breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner were all amazing. The property is wonderful for pictures!"
