「I like that the room is very clean and close to the Elk visitors center. They have a common microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. They were prompt to respond to my questions. The bathroom is a bit small and the toilet is so close to the wall that your knees hit the wall. Nice room if you plan on just sleeping here a night or 2. Would be nice in the summer with the pool open.」

「Room was really clean , bed was extremely comfortable, Extra blankets and pillows if needed. Only thing I would suggest is a hairdryer in the room and makeup remover cloths to save their washclothes. We dont have a good review on the Restaurant. Pasta for my husband was cold along with my soft pretzel fried in fish oil. Smelled and tasted like fish. French onion soup tasted sour like it was old. Sent it all back. Good thing I didnt have an allergy. and service stinks.」

「My husband and I loved our stay. Did not know there was a fall festival going on till we hit town. Guess what, the festival was in the park right behind the hotel. Dean, the General Manager was so pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. Definitely will stay again if the opportunity presents.」

「Emporium is an old town so we knew ahead of time the home was going to be older. I think they did a nice job bringing it up to date considering its age. Beds were fairly comfortable. The detergent used for the comforter was a bit strong. Fridge's water/ice machine didn't seem to work but there was fresh water in the fridge for us guests. The barn door for the bathroom was a nice touch. I'd recommend a latch or small hook as it did tend to open. Otherwise, it was clean and we loved that it was...
