"I booked Aqua Resort at the end of a week long active trip in Nicaragua to relax and unwind. Overall it was a nice stay as long as you are aware of a few things. Pros: The view from my suite (Sapote LS) was one of the most beautiful sights I've seen with clear view of the ocean. The plunge pool was perfect for the hot temps. "Nothing to do around one you do the zip line,the coffee tour and a trail on Mombacho. The place is isolated and hard to get to anywhere without a car. The guys cooked us meals every day which were not too bad concidering the circumstances and reasonably priced. We stayed 2 nights and that was enough for us.It was nice being so close to a volcano and being surrounded by nature.Lots of hawler monkeys around as well!!"

"If you don't mind driving back and forth on dusty bumpy roads and asking where the heck this place is over and over, then it might be ok for you if you are a surfer that doesn't mind substandard lodging. The outdoor bathrooms were dirty with no water and the room smelled like vapors coming from the uncorked sewer drains. The room is worth far less"

"Este hotel es barato pero no tienen la tecnología para hacer la reservación y las compras del bar, el desayuno no es muy bueno y el chef no tiene buena atención al cliente, las camaristas son muy amables y atentas, no tienen estacionamiento para los autos y el bar tiene música muy alta durante la noche. "
