「We booked for 9 nights but stayed only 3. Staying in a fale on the beach at faofao became intolerable without respite from the relentless pounding of the ocean on the reef especially at night. Swimming or just sitting in the water to escape the heat was impossible with the tide almost reaching the fale. No TV at all and no Internet access in the fale. Internet also turned off. Obliged to sit in uncomfortable eating area for Internet access. No respite from bright security lights. Toilet bowl...

「Breakfast was good. I paid for my Expedia reservation at the hotel but was charged an additional 4% for credit card fees (which adds up when you are paying for two rooms for several nights). The rooms were nice but had poor air ventilation so there was always a mouldy smell before the aircon was turned on. Unfortunately, out of the 5 days I stayed, the hot water only worked sporadically and I had to have cold showers on 3 nights. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. 」

「We spent a week in the hotel and Sinalei is a true gem. The landscape makes it feel like you’re in Samoa - not in a general island resort. The staff is extremely kind, polite and sweet. The amenities are great; tennis / paddle court, incredible relaxing pool, kayak, snorkel, everything. The spa is also another great addition - Tiana gave me the best massage and facial.
