"Upgraded to their new hotel which was very good, excellent swimming pool though hand rails would help. Annoyingly, for a brand new hotel, you had out of bed to turn the lights off! "The room was really nice! I wasn't expecting much from the outside but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a great value and I would recommend staying here for seeing the Elephant Orphanage. "The Hotel is very large in size and the staff were very pleasant and helpful organising a driver to take us out of the area to visit all the places of interest we would not see otherwise. Kurunegela itself is not geared up for tourism and is more your local town. So there is a need to travel out. The Hotel is tired with the decor and carpets needing to be replaced and an overall update required. The restaurant choices are limited and overall the Hotel and the area does not cater for europeans"
