"Staff initially very polite, asked me if I would change address which I was happy to do, I later wished I hadn’t. Place felt unclean, puddle in the kitchen that would not go away despite opining it. It had actually stained the floor. Sofas not fit for purpose more like something you would see in a waiting room where you don’t need to get comfy. Bedding felt grubby. "This large and very well presented B&B property is ideally situated to visit nearby Hardwick Hall and is just off the motorway. In a safe, rural location, it is purpose built and has plenty of safe easy parking. Our room was spacious well appointed, albeit somewhat functional and lacking decorative touches. The walls are very thin, so our loud neighbour kept us awake most of the night. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate."
