To be honest this was our first time to Bali and decided to stay in Sanur per friends recommendation. After doing a lot of research online this villa looked like one of the better options, since we were flying 20+ hours to get to bali we wanted a place that made the stay worth it. Ellora did not disappoint, especially as we got more familiar with the area and compared with other Villa's. It's off street location was nice with no noticeable street noise being heard, but at the same time it was close to everything, beach, main Sanur strip. We came across a number of other couples that visit bali often and ellora has been their primary choice for years, we were given a lot of good pointers to very close places to each. The villa's themselves are very nice especially considering the wear and tear that will naturally happen with tropic locations like this. Couple tips:
- There are plenty of travel adapters located in in the villa's so if you don't have your own you should be fine.
- Fly spray, buy some from Hardies, it's just useful to get that stray mosquito that seems to find it's way in, to be honest we had no problems with Mosquitos in general so it's not that big of a deal.
- If you are going to rent a scooter, there is a place on the left of the main entrance, perhaps 4 shops down, I didn't think they were best customer service wide, but were fine. Gas is located on the back street of the villa.
