Oh my gosh! We absolutely love Ellora Villas! Our second time here! Tucked away in our own private sanctuary we felt truly spoiled! The staff goes above and beyond to make everything perfect! Tika and Yuli are so awesome and helpful….with more patience than we can comprehend! We had trouble with Credit Card issues and Tika was so accommodating with helping us make phone calls. We will absolutely be going back to this wonderful “ treasure”! Thank-you Ellora Villas❤️🏝🌈🌟

A fairly good stay
Nice enough room. Very spacious with good air con. Toilet space was big. The swimming pool didn’t tend to get any sunlight due to the angle and the built up area. It was the only location we visited in Bali where we didn’t use the pool. The staff were friendly on arrival and we got a free drink, which was a nice touch. Other than that, they kept themselves in their office. I’m sure they would have been helpful had we asked, but it was noticeable the difference in their proactiveness to be helpful compared to other places in Bali (who would add you to a WhatsApp group, provide you local recommendations, etc). They provided drinking water, but at room temperature. Not ideal in the climate. A water dispenser would be preferable.

Amazing villa for the price, kind and helpful staff, great space. Very close to beach and town, plenty of shops and restaurants, nearby. Kitchen area outside extremely functional and well taken care of. Personal pool and actually, full villa, was well maintained and cleaned . Really liked it!

This property is great for nature lovers. The kitchen is outside, there is plenty of greenery and wildlife. There is room service and lots of places to purchase food within walking distance. There are bicycles for rent on property and usage of a 24 hour gym within a 5 minutes walk away from this villa. Also, adventure seekers would love this area as I observed alot of visitors riding bicycles in the traffic as the side walks are very narrow. The bedrooms are detached with separate keys, so two couples could actually split the cost of this villa easily. Breakfast is cooked for you in your kitchen daily. Also, there is daily housekeeping. I didn't go to the beach, but I was told there was one nearby.

Location was good, northern end of Sanur, access to the beach through The Sands and use of the Sands and Memories Beach Clubs. Breakfast cooked in the villa every morning, very friendly staff.

Hidden away down a small lane, this wonderful place is far from the noise of the traffic and within easy walking distance of the beach and a number of good restaurants. The room was great - more classic than ultra-modern - and the staff could not have been more helpful. Having our own private pool was a definite plus. Highly recommended

A wonderful hideaway
A wonderful place. We had a completely private, one-bedroom villa with its own pool; you could step from the king bed to a pair of sliding glass doors, open them, and step down into the pool and swim to the other end, where there was a pair of lounge chairs under a shade. Like a dream. A covered kitchen, dining and living area was alongside the pool, and a cook came to make our breakfast each morning. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Sanur beach was just two blocks away, but we mostly loved staying around our villa. Quiet, private, luxe - what’s not to love?

My fiance and I arrived in Bali on the 3rd November 2017 and we first stayed in Ubud. We arrived at the Ellora in Sanur on the 7th November and stayed for 6 days. They insisted on having copies of our 2 passports upon arrival which was fine. We received a call on our 3rd day from "The Bali Airport" advising that we had won the first prize of one weeks stay for 4 adults in any 5 star resort in Bali due to a 'promotion' they had over the past month. They had the full details of both myself and my fiance with the correct spelling of both names (our names are difficult to spell). They picked us up the next morning for the 'presentation' as this was a huge event at another 5 star resort in Nusa Dua promoting Bali due to the active volcano at Mt Agung which stopped tourists from coming. This was to promote Bali. When we arrived at this 'event', we were greeted by Westerners whom were giving us the hard sell on buying a share in property in Bali - in a nutshell it is a timeshare!!! We spent 6 hours there of our holiday. I asked our driver on the way back to our hotel about this and he said that they do it all the time and he is the regular driver. People are upset all the time. The ONLY people who had our details are the Ellora. Not the airport (when we fill in our card as to where we are staying) as we were told we arrived in Bali on the 7th Nov. I confronted the reception and they finally admitted this to me NEVER stay there as your personal details will be shared - UGHHH

Very nice. Staff excellent (as usual) - good private, quiet villa, with pool, near to the "tourist street"'in Sanur. "In villa" cooked breakfast - then the villa was quickly and well serviced after breakfast. Appreciated by "staying on" guests - who often have their villa cleaned late in the afternoon.

Perfect hideaway
This is the 5th time we have stayed at Ellora. The staff are top notch. They are easily the best staff I've ever come across. Nothing is too much. The value for money in a 2 bedroom villa is outstanding. It was all clean and luxurious. However it is probably time for the owners to invest in new linen and towels. With everything wise being so good it is a very obvious oversight. Will will be staying here again and again and again.

A little hidden gem
These Villas were just lovely and huge. The pool was so refreshing and private. Each morning two butlers prepared the most beautiful breakfast in our outdoor kitchen. I'd definently stay here again. Thank you to the kind and caring staff.

Pros. Transfers to airport. Private pool. Friendly staff. Kitchen facilities and fridge provided. Quiet, away from main street. Cons. Lots of mosquitoes. Got bitten more than anywhere else. Quality of food breakfast appalling, using cheapest ingredients, basically skipped free breakfast after first day. Internet went down few times. Double room adjoining each other with no direct access from one room to another, each room opens directly to pool. Dangerous as we have two young children and pool not fenced. Meant as a couple we had to sleep with a child each, not ideal when you are on holiday. Quality of place and fixtures and furniture put it at 2/3 stars not 4 stars. Expensive considering above flaws. Won't stay again.

The Ellora Villas is a fabulous place to stay. The private pool was an added bonus. We enjoyed relaxing in our private breakfast areas while the staff on site prepared our breakfast. I could stay her the entire year.

Beautiful villas and friendly staff
Upon arrival at the airport I was immediately impressed by the service. My driver and welcome staff at the villas wefe excellent. The room was amazing. The doors upon into a large open area with pool, kitchen and relaxation area, with the bedrooms housing an enormous bathroom and indoor and outdoor showers. The staff even make breakfast for you each morning in your own kitchen. The only downside was that our bed was very squeaky and loud. Overall an excellent experience.

Very nice villa.
We have stayed there for our honeymoon. The villa was great and the best think was we had our own swimming pool. We had fantastic breakfast cooked for us in our villa every day which was great. Everyone was so nice and helpful. My husband got ill wile we were there and the staff was so good and took us to hospital and gave us fruit basked as gift to recover which was very sweet of them and we did not expect that. We had the best time and hopefully we will be able to return to Ellora villa. Anna and Dan

Beautiful and affordable private villa
I loved the privacy of our having our own beautiful courtyard and pool, and the free breakfast cooked in our outdoor kitchen by private chefs was generous in portion and was delicious. We also appreciated the free shuttle ride to the airport. You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck!

A beautiful villa in a great location in Sanur
We went to Sanur and stayed here on our honeymoon. The villa we stayed in had everything we needed and was really luxurious. The staff were incredibly friendly and were always happy to help with recommending things to do or helping us book our onward trips. The pool inside the villa was great and was right outside one of the bedroom doors, so we could just step right out of the room and into the pool. Breakfast was fantastic and could either be cooked for you in the villa or you could eat at the Beach Cafe (owned by the resort), less than ten minutes away

This was our 3rd stay in the villa complex, as before clean, comfortable, lots of space, privacy and lovely surrounds. The staff as always friendly and happy to help. Love the breakfast option of in your villa or down at the beach restaurant, Bali coffee, feet in the sand and a lovely view!

This place is GREAT. Stayed for four nights as part of our honeymoon. Great location, we never had to use the free Sanur driver service. Walked to all spots while exploring. The place is in great shape and the staff are wonderful. Who doesn't like a private pool and breakfast cooked for them each morning? You won't be disappointed!

Very private, secluded villa, peaceful setting. Close to main road in Sanur and lots of restaurants. The staff were lovely, Sri in particular gave us lots of local information. Breakfast cooked for us at our villa was a treat. Mosquitoes were a nuisance, asked for a net as although rooms were sprayed twice a day and had door closed, they still managed to get in. Close to sandy beach and Hardys store up the road had everything you needed and more!

Everything I hoped it would be
To be honest this was our first time to Bali and decided to stay in Sanur per friends recommendation. After doing a lot of research online this villa looked like one of the better options, since we were flying 20+ hours to get to bali we wanted a place that made the stay worth it. Ellora did not disappoint, especially as we got more familiar with the area and compared with other Villa's. It's off street location was nice with no noticeable street noise being heard, but at the same time it was close to everything, beach, main Sanur strip. We came across a number of other couples that visit bali often and ellora has been their primary choice for years, we were given a lot of good pointers to very close places to each. The villa's themselves are very nice especially considering the wear and tear that will naturally happen with tropic locations like this. Couple tips: - There are plenty of travel adapters located in in the villa's so if you don't have your own you should be fine. - Fly spray, buy some from Hardies, it's just useful to get that stray mosquito that seems to find it's way in, to be honest we had no problems with Mosquitos in general so it's not that big of a deal. - If you are going to rent a scooter, there is a place on the left of the main entrance, perhaps 4 shops down, I didn't think they were best customer service wide, but were fine. Gas is located on the back street of the villa. -

Loved the villa, stepping out of the bedroom straight into your own private pool, fantastic! Loved the privacy, coming back from shopping and closing the gate to the world, bliss. The villa was very clean, great a/c and ceiling fans, huge bathroom with deep soaking bath, king size comfortable bed. The outside loung and kitchen were great, full size fridge and a comfy lounge.

The service was very good and all the staff try their very best to ensure that you have the best experience possible. Having the Ellora staff coming to your kitchen to cook and serve your breakfast took a bit of getting used to, now we are back home we are missing it. The room was very comfortable (needed a little modernisation) with loads of space and facilities and good air-conditioning. The private pool is very good. The satellite TV signal was poor as was the selection of channels (only 3 English ones). Don't rely on the Wi-Fi while it was patchy at the bottom of the garden it was almost non-existent in the room. Showers and toilets were clean and good, however, the quality of the towels varied from fluffy new ones to very well used ones, but the were always clean. The location is well off the main road, a long way down a lane. The entrance to the lane was quite scruffy but the lane clean and safe enough. The walk to the beach takes about 10 minutes through a partner villa and through Sanur Beach Market where you will be continually hassled by the market traders to 'Come look in my shop'. We tried hard to find another way to the beach but you have to sneak through other hotels and hope the guards don't turn you back. The main street is full of trinket shops, mini-markets, travel shops, clothing shops, restaurants and taxi cabs. It can keep you entertained for many evenings. Overall a good place to stay, but it is NOT as close to the beach as you might think.

From the moment we were picked up at the airport to our whole stay at the Ellora villas was superb. The staff were lovely and wanted to do everything to make our stay a great experience. Our breakfast were amazing and cooked for us fresh every morning, The villa had all the comforts of home and more.......The pool was amazing , good size, the villa was exceptionally clean, and the staff were always polite and friendly. If you want a getaway that you can relax and recharge this is the place to stay. The villas are tucked away through a lane way which is only a min. walk to the main street and your in the hart of Sanur. Across the road you can walk through to the beach and relax with all the cafes right on the beach. Will definately book again .:-]

Villa was spacious and clean. Breakfast cooked every morning if you wanted it. Staff were very abliging and attentive. We were close to local warungs and massage places. The beach was a short walk away. Hardy's was also a short walk or a cheap bemo ride. The villa is very private. Will be back again!!
