Staff made you feel really welcomed. Small hotel so very personal service. Rooms were large and clean. Pleasant surprise was hot water in the sink and good pressure and hot water in the shower. In Asia this not always the case. The pool area was very relaxing.

Stayed here for 2 nights as it’s in the area of the port for ferry’s and my next stop was Nusa Lembongan. Really happy that I chose to stay in Sanur and I picked the perfect hotel for it! Akana is beautiful, didn’t see one bit of dirt the whole time I was there. Staff are very attentive and will go above and beyond for you but also leave you to your own devices. The pool is beautiful, the restaurant area is great and the food was fantastic. There are so many great bars and restaurants within 5/10 minutes walk. The hotel have bikes and scooters that you can use for free. Never used a scooter before so I used a bike and cycled to the beach for sunrise. Plenty of markets nearby, places to book excursions, supermarkets/convenient stores, bars, restaurants, beaches. Perfect location and perfect hotel. Thank you for such a beautiful stay.

What makes this hotel perfect is the staff, the location and the property. It’s an oasis from the busy street that is just around the corner so shopping, spas, tour guides, massages, other restaurants/bars and the beach are all walkable. Or you can use one of the free bicycles they provide. The room is big, clean and a very comfortable with a king bed, work area, large walk in shower, stocked mini fridge, robes and flip flops… and the pool view was wonderful with a private balcony, sofa and drying rack so we could reuse our towels and dry our swim suits. The people here are excellent and always welcome you and ask how everything is going. Any issues and they solve it. Bintang beer is offered by the bucked for an amazing Price as is the 2 for one happy hour drinks. We are many of our meals at Selada Restaurant that is part of the hotel. Great selection of food and we never had any stomach issues. The a la cart breakfast and buffet was perfect and made to order. Eggs and stuff or an Bali breakfast. You won’t be sorry if you stay here and get a pool view room. We loved it.

Fantastic little boutique hotel in the quiet end of Sanur. We had a pool access room and it was lovely. Comfortable bed, big room and outside bathroom and it was soundproof. Highly recommend.

True to its description, the Akana was a beautiful tastefully decorated Boutique Hotel. Pool area divine, staff very friendly and helpful. Room lovely and large with balcony. Great area, lots of bars, restaurants, live music and very on trend shopping. The beach was just a short walk . With lots of 5 star properties ensuring that the beach was always pristine. One minor complaint, was that the room wasn’t made up until late in the day. Wouldn’t have noticed, but we we’re recovering from the flu and looking for an afternoon nap 🙄 but I’m sure if I asked they would have been happy to oblige. 5star at a 3 star price. Would definitely recommend.

Loved staying here. The bed were so comfortable, the rooms were lovely and the semi out door bathroom was great. The pool was really nice, plenty of choice for breakfast, the staff are friendly and helpful. Walking distance to so many great restaurants, massages, shopping and the beach. Really great value.

The cleanest place I stayed at during my 2 weeks in Bali. Staff was extremely helpful and very polite. Personally, I rate this better than a 5 star hotel I stayed at later on in Bali. I hope to stay again if I return as it was amazing. Highly recommend for the price!

Absolutely perfect stay in Sanur! The rooms are exactly as pictured and the hotel is very close to the beach and many bars/restaurants. Although the food at the hotel is excellent itself, and Baby Monkeys is right next door, which also excellent. The spa across the street and one black up is fantastic too. I will definitely be back!

So glad I got a deluxe room to enjoy the outdoor bathroom. It was so special and relaxing. I also was able to use the spa across the street which came recommended called Leah Leah. ENJOY!

The location was not busy but still close to both high end dinning and budget meals - dependinf on how you felt. The pool area was such that you made friends with your fellow guests. And although not a beer drinker...Bintang at $2.00 a beer... The staff were always willing to help as much as possible. The manager G'Day was really helpful. We stayed there two weeks. Only complaint was, as per many Mediterranean houses, we found the room poorly lit. Maybe sunny climates like non bright interiors.

Very nice property, rooms are big and comfortable. The staff is amazing, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location is also really good, close the beach as well as endless restaurants and bars. The ok negatives I would say was the breakfast was just ok, it’s a small buffet and made to order choices from the menu but they got our order wrong on several days. The other thing was the WiFi isn’t very good.

Spent to weeks at the Akana, lovely small hotel quality of the room/ service/ cleanliness is excellent. Staff are very friendly and always willing to help with anything you require. Would defiantly recommend and would stay again if visiting Sanur.
