"Der var en seng. Omend den var meget blød. Der var ingen pære i den ene natlampe. Der var ingen vand i køkkenet. Der lugtede jordslået på badeværelset. Vi havde dog forventet lidt bedre, end det var. Der stod i brev, inden vi kom, at vi selv skulle have viskestykker, karklude og køkkenruller med i rigelige mængder. Til hvad? Når der ikke er vand i køkkenet. Men beliggenheden er rigtig god. "
