  • I was atop Mt. Chopok, in the Low Tatras Mountains. Chopok is at 2,024 m (6,640 ft) and is the 3rd highest peak of the Low Tatra Range. The views were truly breathtaking from there! Including the meteorological observatory tower covered in snow. But, most of my time in Slovakia was in the High Tatras. The mountains there are even bigger and more epic. I was based in the small city of Poprad and took trips every day. I was in Slovakia in September 2015, too. But this was my 1st time in winter! And with a good camera ;). I also had a wonderful time in Budapest, as well! My very 1st time there. But, while I spent most of my time in the High Tatras I loved being in the Low Tatras! The mountains were absolutely magnificent! And I came to Chopok at a perfect time of day :). I took this photo in March 2018.

Very nice hotel, great room, friendly staff, great breakfast - and we loved the little extra of the welcome bubbles that we could bring to our balcony. We only spent one night and would have loved to stay longer. Would stay there again for sure.

First Lady that helped us for check in was Amazing as well the barman !!… the rest of the staff needs some training in customer service specifically the lady at wellness area, very rude responding us when we were lost in our way to the pool.

We stayed here as family (2 adults, 1 child 3y) for a prolonged weekend and had a great stay! It’s a really good family hotel with outdoor playground, indoor kids zones, pool and wellness area for families but also adults only. Our room was spacious, cleaned every day. We enjoyed half board - good choice as during the day we went hiking and ate outside. Selection of food for breakfast was very good; during breakfast you chose food from 3 adults menu options and 2 kids menu options for the evening. Pool area for families was also very nice - our little one had a lot of fun! All in all a very nice getaway from Bratislava!

The stay was enjoyable overall, good food and nice place, clean kids area, very beautiful surroundings. However, we had a few issues. Our room was full of insects. Very huge bugs which are spread around the whole area where the hotel is located were constantly appearing in the room. The water in the pool could be warmer, especially for the kids area. The hair dryer was not functioning, so we had to pick up a replacement in the reception. I would expect a room service for this at least. Some minor things which were not expected in hotel in the 4*category and could be improved. Otherwise, we are satisfied with the stay.

The staff was quite rude and with attitude. No free water is absolutely ridiculous for a 4 star hotel. No drinks with a dinner is very strange. Buffet style dinner was amazing, but the portions of the evening meals were like for children.

Pracovná cesta v Jasnej

V hoteli som srávil jednu noc počas služobnej cesty. Check in prebehol veľmi rýchlo, zamestnanci recepcie boli veľmi milí. Interiér hotela je pekný, udržiavaný, pôsobi veľmi príjemne. Izba bola priestranná, moderne zariadená. Kúpeľňa bola dostatočne veľká a čistá. Z hotelovej izby som mal celkovo veľmi dobrý dojem. Raňajky podávané v hoteli boli chutné, výber jedál a nápojov veľký. Nemám žiadne negatíva.

Wspaniały pobyt

Miło spędzony czas w hotelu. Jest to kolejny pobyt w hotelu z "zajefajnymi" wrażeniami. Obsługa bardzo miła, pomocna i uprzejma. Stolik przypisany do danego pokoju jest dobrym rozwiązaniem. Skibus w sezonie zimowym jest ekstra rozwiązaniem. Jedzenie bardzo dobre. Welness 16+ jest super - spokojnie, cicho, wygodnie.

Great hptel with lots to do. Excellent food, breakfast buffet is expansive and dinner has several options. Rooms are large and comfortable. Staff was polite and helped us arrange travel. Only negative was ski shuttle only runs evey half hour and if it ia full you must wait for next bus.

Lidt trist at deler av hotelets fasiliteter var lukket. Store dele av spa og svømmeavdelingen var stengt? Matmenyen var kun på Slovakisk, de hadde ingen på engelsk!
