This is not a poor hotel per se; as I found the service, like many if not all the three star hotels I stayed in in India to be quite prompt and good. But the room they assigned to me was quite simply depressing. Not only was there no hot water, but there were no windows (the room was facing the street), far too much noise outside the hallway that would persist until about 1am, and the only lights in the room were overhead neon lights, which gave the room the air of an investigative room. The management would not switch me to another room, so after two nights I looked elsewhere and found a satisfactory hotel down the street. In short, the hotel is rather depressing, beginning with lack of any actual lobby and dismal atmosphere of the rooms. There are other hotels that one can get at near this one, and I would recommend that you avoid this hotel.
