「Quiet with tranquil garden and water fountains were beautiful. Morning coffee or tea available. Caretakers were amazing and very kind. Close to ocean/beach.」

「The staff, the location, all were great. But why the Marriott Courtyard in Solana Beach, a Resort area, could not offer their guests a cup of hot coffee or tea in the morning was beyond me. The coffee pots in the room were next to awful. Most hotels, even the Holiday Inn Express have coffee in the lobby.」

「A very bad experience. The shower drain in the room was clogged, and the front desk staff were completely expressionless, communicating with a sullen face throughout, and were very impatient. The breakfast buffet was almost empty, and the staff just stood there expressionlessly watching, not replenishing the food until I pointed it out, at which point they reluctantly went to get more. In short, the experience was terrible, and I will never stay at this hotel again.」
