"The large towels, bathrobes, and slippers were nice. Good hotel soaps and they had toothbrushes and toothpaste standard in the room which was thoughtful.
We had dinner the first night at Braxtons and it was disappointing. I ordered the salmon for $46 and it was over cooked with a flavor profile that was mediocre at best. The portion did not make up for the quality. We also had the unfortunate experience if having the waiter spilling champagne over the back of one of the guests at our table. The manager offered her a 50% reduction on her meal (not enough given the fact that she was soaked in wine for the entire meal) and then did not apply it to the bill and she had to ask them to fix the bill.
Overall, the hotel is beautiful and full of history. I would recommend eating somewhere other than Braxtons if you're hungry or have a discerning palate."
