"Needlessly complicated check in process - why did I have to supply my ID? There is no UK legal requirement for this and most places don't do it. "Reception team were welcoming, friendly and efficient. The room was OK, but it was a pity that the windows were very dirty. Due to the two groups staying at the hotel we decided to eat out both for dinner and breakfast. Please do not be put off staying here it is a reasonable quality hotel that with a little care and attention could be excellent."

"Easy & efficient check-in, I was lucky to grab a car parking space at the front of the hotel. Due to steps within the front foyer, I had to bring my bags around to a rear entrance & take a lift to the main floor, once I had checked in. My room was spacious with a interesting "alcove" at the headboard, with easy access for switching on the rooms lights. My only niggle was the lack of white bread at breakfast, I prefer to make my own food preferences, not have them made for me. The place was within a easy 5- 10 minute walk to Plymouth Arena."

"Bit difficult to establish where the parking is as not part of the hotel, otherwise enjoyed the short stay, mainly to see the Beryl Cook Exhibition nearby. Breakfasts are really good, the bar meals are the same as the restaurant but we were unable to use it as it was always fully booked. We chose to use the bar & staff, particularly Josh, were pleasant, helpful & attentive. Plymouth as a whole is looking very sad & needs a lot of attention!"

"Room overlooking the beach, very spacious & clean. Good soundproofing our sleep was not disturbed by other guests. Used the pool and sauna all very clean & very helpful staff. Breakfast was a lovely continental selection, lots of fresh fruit. Restaurant had a stunning view of the beach, would've like some lighter options for lunch and dinner. Mini bus was a great little added extra for getting to and from the edge of town. Very helpful staff eager to help."

"Best place I’ve stayed in a long while. Comfortable king size bed with continental quilt, rain fall shower. Mini fridge had complimentary soft drinks and snacks. Great sound proofing, once I switched off the a/c heating was in prefect silence. Tv only has freeview, but not an issue these days. Breakfast wide choice of things. Very helpful and friendly staff. "
