Bluewater Resort has it all. Wonderful clean cottage with full kitchen & all amenities. We rented a boat slip with electric to plug in daily. We were on the water 10 hours a day, the fishing spots are endless. In our many travels throughout TVR, this is the best location. The staff, where do I begin. Rachel is a gem, a bubbly ray of light & a wealth of info! Everyone was beyond friendly. Conversation, fishing tackle, gas & snacks right at the store. Wish we would never have to leave but definitely coming back! Thank you BWR, a memorable, wonderful vacation.

The resort is clean and well kept; Only it has one bath room and is inconvenient. There are not much things to do there.

The lodge like feel. The loft rooms are like townhomes with their own decks or patios. Different than your typical hotel room. The setting is off the beaten path. It is also has an RV camp site on the water. The nightly rate is a bit pricey so check their prices and you take out your own trash and strip sheets similar to a rental.

Watch out for Faulty Fire Alarm

The place was outstanding! The only complaint I have was the issue with the malfunctioning fire alarm going off on Saturday, July 13 approx. 10 pm and then Sunday, July 14 at 5 am and again at 5:20 am. We went ahead and got up and left the facility early. Was very happy with the overall experience/stay.

Definitely will stay again!

The resort was wonderful! It was very clean and comfortable. The staff was so helpful and on top of things. The living areas made it perfect as we could gather together with friends as well as a place to sleep.

The location is great for hanging outside with your kids, roasting marshmallows over the fire pits. The room itself is awesome, has all the amenities of home. You can also enjoy the pool or rent a pontoon boat and fish.

THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME STAYING AT BLUE WATER. IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH ALL OF THE STAFF AT THE FACILITY...ESPECIALLY RACHEL!! EVERYTHING ABOUT THE FACILITY WAS TOP NOTCH. THE CABIN WE STAYED IN WAS CLEAN AND WELL FURNISHED. THE BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE AND THE CABIN ALSO HAS CENTRAL A/C THAT KEPT US NICE AND COOL. THERE IS AMPLE SPACE FOR PARKING EVERYWHERE AND THE BOAT RAMP AND DOCK AREA WERE VERY ACCESSIBLE. THERE IS ALSO GAS AVAILABLE ON THE WATER AT THE MARINA SO YOU NEVER HAVE TO PULL YOUR BOAT OUT IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO. NOT ONE COMPLAINT HERE...WE WILL DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!!

Bees were awful both inside and out of cabin. Would have liked to sit outside but couldn’t coz they were so bad. Table/chairs and couch uncomfortable. Brought our own seating since we had been before. Everything else good. Nice people beautiful park. Would like to see a better fish cleaning station and maybe trash cans by boat docks.

Great place to stay...

Barron makes sure your stay is enjoyable. The kids enjoyed the loft bedroom and swimming pool. It’s a neat cabin that is a home away from home!

Blue Water Resort has cabins and camping sites, and a private boat launch. It was very nice and clean. The lake is beautiful! Even though first time on the lake and not knowing the best fishing spots, we did ok.

The cabin was beautiful and very spacious!

We went to watch the 2017 Total Eclipse and had a wonderful time. The cabin was immaculate, and very nicely furnished with a complete kitchen, as well as a separate bedroom/loft area for the kids. Newly installed outdoor pool looked like a lot of fun (though none of used it) and the area surrounding was very scenic. Can't say enough about the owner and management staff. They were extremely hospitable and took great care of us. Will definitely rent from these folks again if we find ourselves down in TN again in the future. And if you're looking for a great fishing/outdoor experience, you should SERIOUSLY consider this place. We came for an entirely different reason this time around, but if we find ourselves looking for something like that, we'll know where to go.

We went for a solar eclipse but I don't think that comes as standard! Lodges are fantastic and swimming pool great. Staff helpful.
