Éts d’hébergement bas de gamme, pas « hôtel »

Une semaine dans cet « hôtel 3* » qui est plus un hôtel pour curistes qu’un Hôtel de tourisme. En fait on ne retrouve pas le confort d’un 3*. Chambre spartiate et triste, Salle de bains d’hôpital, draps changés une fois par semaine. Plus une pension de famille, ce qui ne correspondait pas à nos critères d’hôtellerie. Très loin de la photo du site d’une chambre agréable. D’autre part, la prise TV ayant été débranchée par la femme de ménage, on a pu voir la saleté derrière la TV (une punaise s’y réchauffait) et le branchement pas très conforme. Chambres sentant fortement le tabac. Correct peut-être pour de l'hébergement De curistes mais pas à figurer dans des sites d’hôtellerie.. Enfin, nous n’avons pas payé pour notre chambre le prix annoncé par hôtels.com. Points forts : ascenseur et parking

Séjour agréable au bord de l'eau

Hôtel idéalement situé face à l'Adour à deux pas du centre ville. Chambres bien insonorisées, cuisine du restaurant excellente. Chambre étroites vu la taille du lit.

Hôtel calme, bien placé sur les bords de l’Adour. Bonne literie, décoration vieillissante mais en bon état général. Bémol, le fait d’etre obligé de payer la chambre et petits déjeuners à l’arrivee !!

The receptionist insisted we pay despite us showing her the paid booking from hotels.com. Not a great start. The ability to take and understand internet bookings is a basic requirement. However, she was very nice when our room was very hot and gave us a fan. The hotel itself is a very basic hotel, definitely in need of refurbishment.

Worst hotel ever stayed in.

Shocking experience. Arrived very late, to what appeared to be abandoned locked reception, eventually greeted by member of staff who turned out to be friendly and helpful, but check-in took 20 mins. Hotel was dirty, with dated decor and furnishings, room smelt stale and carpet soiled & faded and bathroom was discoloured and didn’t even want to touch fittings. Woke up itching from bed, decided to check-out and cancel pre-booked breakfast as didn’t want to chance it. Morning receptionist rude and abrupt when requested refund.

The Hotel is OK,

Nice walks by the river, which is just behind the hotel, You'll need your French, don't think people in the hotel or Dax are going to speak English because most don't. They have their own car park which is a plus. I would try to eat in the town itself. We could take our dog to our room which was great.
