Too big for a couple, perfect for a family.

The location is charming for traveling to Seneca Rocks, but if you want to travel to Dolly Sods hiking trails be aware it's on the east side of the mountain and about 2 hours away. This cabin has everything though, and is an awesome place to stay. Three bedrooms, can sleep 7 or more people.

Cabin is a 2 unit condo. Slight mustiness but once open windows it cleared. It was very clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances functioning. You are not to leave garbage on premise, the garbage is dumped about 1-2 miles from cabin where you pick up your keys. Bring extra garbage bags and toilet paper. Would also recommend bringing dishwasher soap, as supply only enough for 2 loads. Cable and WiFi worked. We found box fans on our last night there, stored in closets. Great location! Located between Blackwaters Falls State Park and Canaan Valley State Park. Bring lawn chairs if can. They have deck chairs but they could probably be updated. Grill is charcoal grill, so bring charcoal. Would definitely stay there again. They require paperwork to be turned in before you come. You have to print it to sign or have access to DocuSign. It would be helpful if this was sent sooner to give more time to accomplish as I do not have a home printer. Would recommend. Check in and check out was without contact, all information was waiting in a key pick up box with name on envelope.

The Cedar Place D1 was adequate for our purpose of traveling. The amenities were a bit off from what was described but nothing that created any major issues.
