Our first floor room was spacious and well decorated with all ameneties including tea/coffee, fridge, beach towels etc. TV had Netflix etc. More St James than Kalk Bay but only 10mins walk to Kalk Bay. 「I should note, you do have to walk up 100+ stairs, but once you get up there what an amazing view from the balcony of your room ! 「Devonport House is a wonderful guest house in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Jenn and Jacques are great hosts and very helpful with tips for restaurants and sightseeing. 「Was pleasantly surprised to find the Villa to be as warm and welcoming as depicted in the pictures . Our Host Sue personally welcomed us made sure we felt at home. The one thing they do not advertise is the beautiful view at night with the Moon on your balcony . everything you could need was available , will definitely be adding them to my list of returns :) 」
