"The location of this hotel was EXCELLENT! Our balcony had amazing views of the ocean and the hotel itself is walking distance to some local bars and restaurants, the beach, and Doheny State Park. There were 2 pools and a hot tub with views of the ocean and also complimentary bike rentals (for 2 hours). There was a cute little gift shop and I believe there was also an arcade (but we didn’t check that out). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and EVERYTHING was immaculately clean. The lobby was spotless … the pool, the rooms, the elevators, the hallways, the laundry room, even the parking garage was pristine. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and in fact, already booked our stay for next year as well!"

"The staff and the hotel are great - but there is a lot of construction - and the pricing was outrageous for the festival (1200 to 1500 per night) - even though much of the hotel was blocked off and construction ongoing. That said, there was still a pool open (and it was great) as well as some great restaurants - but I do think they should have offered much cheaper rates during construction as you could still hear it during the day, so it wasnt quite as relaxing. Looking forward to when it is all finished."
