Staff was courteous, but not very informative. Upon check in, they should be telling you about the hotel and what it has to offer. We had no idea they served any type of breakfast or had Ebikes for use. They should have shown the menus or had them in the room. There were no instructions on how to use the coffee pot in the room, The rooms could use slippers. I would not say this was a luxury property.

Such a charming little boutique hotel. The room we stayed in was immaculately clean & comfortable (nice mattress & crisp linens). The Spanish colonial decor is so charming and so fitting for SoCal... and the view from our ocean facing patio room was amazing. Our patio was perfect for enjoying the ocean at sunset, and the chiminea kept us cozy and warm so we could continue to enjoy the patio as the temperature dropped into the evening. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. This was the perfect place for us to stay for a quick 2-day anniversary getaway from San Diego. We can't wait to come back!

Location was beautiful and convenient. The room had a view of the ocean and a porch to sit on (we were on second floor. The door to the room was a dutch door which was fun and let in the breeze. Great amenities including a record player and records. Very charming lobby with a fireplace and small bar and bookshelves - almost like a B&B. They serve food albeit limited. We just had a drink outside. I wish we could have stayed more days.

Great stay - cute rooms, comfy beds, conveniently located, friendly staff. Had no problems with parking or staff availability for questions or help. (Contrary to some karen reviews) The little bar had great service and decent food, breakfast in the am and tapas later. It's a quick walk to the beach, just you just have to walk to a crosswalk. Manage your expectations - look at pics and remember this is a beach hotel on the PCH. I always bring my sound machine to drown out train and hwy sounds. I had a great stay and everything I needed for vacation. Loved the grounds and took a nap on the cozy lounge in the sun. Probably won't stay in the same room for a business trip since there's no desk, but would totally recommend this hotel overall. Will stay again.

A hidden gem at the base of Capo Beach. Chill vibe, “glamping” at its best. The bar is terrific and the staff are wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay here. The view of the pacific ocean from our upper floor room was perfect. We loved how the decor, fixtures and style of the place felt original and charming. Check-in and out was extremely easy, parking was easy, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was exactly what we were hoping for and we will definitely stay here again.

Not worth the higher than usual cost. Had to park across the street because they have more rooms than their lot can accommodate. No pool or hot tub. Also had to keep the blinds down the whole stay because they were really tangled & broken. One of the bed posts broke because it had been poorly repaired with wood glue (see pic). Like 5 staff had to come into our tiny room to assess it and they said it had broke in the same place in the past. We were relieved they didn't blame us. Other than that the bed/pillows were very comfy, staff was friendly, and breakfast croissant & quiche were tasty (although a bit overpriced).
