This place was lovely, having a hot tub on your balcony was an amazing way to relax and unwind after a day of driving. The property is close to Akureyri if you want to have dinner there or find grocery options. The check in process however was painful, with the website saying you need to contact (call) them two days prior. This is very annoying when you can’t contact them (i didn’t have calling with my eSIM plan). I spent two times with Expedia support attempting to contact the property to receive check in information. Expedia provided me with the information on behalf of the hotel. It should also be noted that no guests were in the other cabins as far as we could see (no cars) so it was not high season. Despite all of the work to check in - once we were there it was a great little place with beautiful views and facilities.

Sehr gemütliche Hütte. Liebevolle Einrichtung und auf jeden Fall modernisiert da die Bilder von der Inneneinrichtung veraltet sind. Wir waren begeistert. Sehr sauber. Die Lage und die Aussicht sind einzigartig. Der Hot Tube war hervorragend. Besser hätte es nicht sein können. Unklar war für uns der Check in. Da niemand auf unsere Nachricht geantwortet hatte. Wir riefen einfach unter der Telefonnummer an die uns angezeigt wurde bei der Buchung. Ein sehr netter Herr hat uns alle Informationen gegeben. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt.

Charming, cozy, and clean cabin with a relaxing deck and very kind host. It was amazing listening to the birds at 12:30am while soaking in the hot spring fed outdoor spa watching the colorful midnight sunset, priceless! This highlight was only topped by whale watching from the porch. The cabins are set back slightly from the fjord and the views are stunning! It's an easy 1 minute walk to the waters edge, and an easy drive to Dalvik too. So thankful we found these cabins; all surrounded by wildflowers, whales, nature, and beautiful Iceland.

The stay was lovely despite the cold outside (-14). Had one issue and someone came quickly to help, thank you. Would be very grateful if the property could email entry details proactively on the morning of arrival instead of needing to chase each time without international calls. Check in details arrived at 11pm that night. Please check your email or provide WhatsApp as we can't all call your number.

Leider ist das Cottage in einem eher renovierungsbedürftigem Zustand. Ausblick, Lage und der Hottub auf dem Balkon, den man für sich privat hat, machen etwas davon wieder wett.

This had potential of being excellent. I booked it with the hot tub in mind. Yet the hot tub didn’t work even after someone making attempts to fix it. Initial check-in was a disaster too. We were locked out even after agreement and email confirmation of a late check-in. We made numerous calls to the owners but got hung up on through voicemails. It was only by chance that i guessed a combination for a key at a different property that we got shelter overnight. Then, when we in our property, the cooker broke down half way through cooking breakfast (food ruined). We got a portable replacement 45 minutes later. All in all, even after this, I would return here, as long as the fickle problems are sorted. As again this has potential of being excellent.

Lovely but...

The cottage is very nice, small but comfy. Very disappointed - 2nd time - no info sent to get in, left an hour+ in the dark and snow. Not everyone can call +354 numbers. When you do call / email no-one answers. I ran a guest house, less fancy internal features, more about simple good admin. Heating was again way too hot to sleep even though bedroom and lounge turned off. No instructions on anything inside so couldn't work out what to do. Real shame as this place was great the first time I came.

Very quiet place. Beautiful cottage with a drying rack too. The hot pool was quite hot otherwise everything was okay. There were ducks in the sea near the cottages which added further beauty to the already lovely place.

The cottage was really lovely. We had an amazing view, the inside of the cottage ist beautiful and the hot tub is an extra plus! The kitchen has everything you need for the stay. Would recommend and visit again.

Fantastisch!

Wir waren im Basic House und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt...die Aussicht auf den Fjord war unglaublich, die Zimmer sauber. Das Haus war mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben ein paar Stühle auf der Terrasse vermisst. Für uns war es kein Problem, da wir mit dem Camper unterwegs waren und Campingstühle dabei hatten. Ich bin mir aber sicher, wenn wir danach gefragt hätten, hätte es bestimmt eine Lösung gegeben. Auch der Hot Pot auf der Terrasse war fantastisch. Was will man mehr!

Love the cottage, especially the view and the the privacy. However the shower head clip was broken and some light can’t be turn on, I think it was due to previous tenant who broke that and didn’t inform the property management.

Beautiful location, comfortable rooms and beds. We enjoyed our stay and our only issue was shower which needs repairs/improvements. Overall a great stay and loved the area and cabin.
