"The Avid hotel was a very clean and was very comfortable. It is truly an excellent value for all that you get in the amenities. Breakfast was excellent fresh and very tasty. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone as it is a hidden gem!"

"It’s an OK inn if you can’t find a better place. As soon as I walked in, you could smell the staff in the laundry area smoking pot. Absolutely unacceptable. The TV didn’t work. They don’t offer complimentary breakfast either. "

"The carpet throughout was dirty and did not look like it had been vacuumed in a while. The rooms are outdated. The biggest problem I have is the fact that they have banana nut waffle mix right with the regular mix. With only a small sign saying what it is. Also the cross contamination that is happening in the waffle makers is a big concern. Thank God we spotted the sign right before putting the mix in the cup. Two of my family members are highly allergic to nuts. This could of killed them or landed us in the hospital. I can not even believe in this day and age that any hotel would do this. We will never stay at a comfort inn again. We choose this hotel based on having a breakfast available for us to have before we got back on the road and we all left eating nothing at all as we did not feel safe. Also the crockpot of sausage gravy looked like it had been in there for days. In all my travels i have never been so grossed out and disappointed in a hotel for putting people's life at risk. Do better Comfort Inn! "

"The front desk clerk was kind and attentive. He acknowledged us upon entry. Breakfast was great! The staff working the breakfast area were friendly as well! The room was clean and there was plenty of room for my family of 6. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area! "

"Cleanliness was great. Rooms were great but a few things could definitely be added to make things a little better. Not enough trash cans in the room. The charging ports on The table in between the beds didn’t work on one side. The fragrance in the lobby, although it’s a great scent, is so strong it will knock you down when you walk in. It doesn’t carry into the upper levels, thank goodness. If it had, I would definitely not have been able to stay. My sister stayed there a few weeks before we did and she warned me about it, and she wasn’t kidding. Microwaves in the room would be nice. Only ones are on the 3rd floor. Went to order breakfast and they were out of waffles and breakfast sandwiches. What we ordered was definitely not worth the price. There is only one end table size place to put things in so suitcases are everywhere and there isn’t a lot of space to move around in anyway, so it always felt cluttered and cramped. The most important things (cleanliness and staff) were great so it made up for a lot of the little things that make staying away from home easier, i just found it frustrating bc there were so many details that were disappointing. "

"The hotel was average/ mediocre at best. The amenities are outdated and need renovation. The room which was a suite for a family of 5, was not very spacious. Very small bathtub and shower combination that did not divert the water all the way to the shower head. The pool was almost unheated, on the smaller side, and offered no hot tub for adults to relax in. The hotel attempted to be courteous and gave us water and cookie sandwiches BUT they only gave 2 waters and 2 cookies for 3 children and 2 adults. The breakfast in the morning was an expected continental breakfast which had hot and cold food options. They did have vouchers for made to order breakfast but we did not use them. We also arrived too late for the dinner and drinks offered so I do not know the quality of the food. There is Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse offered for in room dining or in restaurant, but no other on site dining for later dinner or snacks. For the amount charged for the room I expected everything to be on more of a luxury upend scale, but everything seemed to be no different than every other hotel in the area except there were a few more business men around in the lobby. "
