If I could give them a 0, I would. It’s obvious that they are under new management. This used to be a nice clean reasonably comfortable hotel. The room was clean. But there seemed to be an issue with the AC and the halls and rooms were very humid. Had to ask for creamer for coffee two days in a row. None on coffee bar at any time. The part that gets them a 0 stars is after one night there, we left to go to a better hotel. And, they still tried to charge us for the week’s stay that we had originally booked. Even though, we personally went down to check out, the clerk could not assure us that we would only be charged for the one night. He kept saying he had to ask the manager if it could be refunded. This seemed fishy to us, so we contacted the credit card co to let them know we had left and not to approve any other charges. They tried to run it thru anyway about 4 days later after our initial stay woukd have ended.

Hotel looks worn out! And it’s obvious that there isn’t extra care given to the facility. Small example is the dead plants and empty planters at the front entrance. It’s not inviting at all. The room was ok but also very tired looking. Floor in the bathroom creaked really bad and everything looks old. The room and bathroom were clean but we have never slept in such a terrible, saggy bed. Won’t be staying here again!

The cons: Pool was closed, hot tub was empty and full of gunk, and almost all of the gym equipment was broken. I don't want to be mean but the breakfast was not really good at all either - I didn't try the waffles but maybe they would have been the only good thing to have. The eggs were like spongy and watery. I was kind of worried that the milk was just sitting out for hours, too. The breakfast area was also super crowded the whole time since it's all tucked in a small area. We ended up leaving and staying at the Home2 nearby for our last night - Our first night we barely slept because the hotel was so noisy and someone was slamming their door repeatedly at 6 am. Housekeepers were super loud in the hallways too very early in the morning. The walls were paper thin. The pros: The staff were nice and when our TV remote didn't work, they came immediately to fix it. The park area in the courtyard was enjoyable. We sat outside for a while with all our luggage waiting until check in time at 3pm, because they charge you increasing amounts the earlier you try to check in...which is weird for people traveling on all sorts of different schedules like us. If they didn't charge for an early check in, had the amenities available, had better breakfast and somehow soundproofed rooms, then it would have been better. Go to the Home2 down the street, it was amazing to stay there instead for our last night in TX.

There were dead bugs on the floor in the room. The shower door would not dyay closed so water gets all over the bathroom floor. We reported both to the fro t desk acted like it was the first they knew of the showe, but pretty sure it has been that way for awhile. Price if a soft drink is $4.00 I can understand some markup, but that is crazy.

Did not use the laundry room. The staff was friendly. The pool was closed. If the pool is closed, why is that not listed on the website when booking?! This is so annoying. The hotel needed repairs. The room was spacious and clean. When in the shower, if someone turned on the sink the water immediately went cold; that was great.

I frequently stay in Dallas to catch and early international flight. This hotel, was by far the cleanest, closest, and friendlier places out of the other places I have stayed.
