The fitness room was closed. After paying for the hotel room through Expedia, the hotel still charged an additional fee because it was booked through Expedia. It was extremely noisy from highway traffic. I went down to the front desk at midnight to get ear plugs and they said they did not have any so it was a night without sleep.

My 5-day stay at Comfort Suites Arlington was a mix of fair, poor, & awful. The 1st night, I was unable to sleep at all due to the loud traffic noise emitted from Hwy. I-30, that appeared to be less than 100 yds. from the hotel. My request for another room was denied, as it was reported that "all rooms were occupied or reserved for incoming guests." I left the Desk Clerk with him knowing I was not happy. That afternoon, he knocked on my door and told me that had found a way where he could move me to my choice of 2 rooms. I selected a room that was located on the same floor as my original room and found that it was absolutely devoid of any loud traffic noise. However, though being quiet, the new room had its problems. The bathroom was very poorly lit and the bed mattress was so soft that, after back pain set in, I was forced to sleep on the sofa, with its firm seat cushions. The one element of my stay that was, at least, ok, was the complementary breakfast buffet. At $100 per night, this hotel is never going to get my business again.

First of all the staff, they were on their job of guest services- personable yet very professional. I witnessed them dealing with unfriendly guests with grace and a smile on their face and also with me getting to know them kindly and they addressed both very well. The facilities were clean and the amenities were helpful. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, despite the fact that they were very near to capacity.

Room was good and very roomy. The bathroom had tile coming up, only had the vanity lights as the only source of light so there wasn’t light in the shower, and the showers were cold. The first morning, there was a super limited amount of breakfast options and no coffee (I understand the hotel was busy, but they could prepare for that) so we didn’t even try eating there the second morning. One of the two elevators was working so there was always a long wait and people in line. Other than that, staff was friendly. And the parking lot and area seemed safe. Great location.

Room was nice and clean. No hot water though, beds too low to the ground, couldn’t keep the sheet on the bed kept popping off every time we turned to the sides. And we literally roll in sink in the middle of the bed. We had no tv in the other room we rented and it didn’t have hot water as well. Tenant told me there was nothing they could do about the tv the first night. I asked them to charge each room to a different credit card just to get the points they took the card but it was still taken off just one card. Come to find out the tenant used the other card for like accessories if needed. It wasn’t needed.

While I didn’t have breakfast I poked my head in and saw the usual things you expect. The room is large and spacious, the shower was a low step over which is perfectly fine. I stayed there for the game at AT&T and it was great they offered a shuttle (through a 3rd party).
