Very oldfashioned hotel in bad condition

The hotel was shock to me! Hotel is really basic and example aircondition didn't work. Restaurant was lousy and breakfast poor. I saw only 3 other guest there but don't wonder why. Hopefully first and last time there!

Good location

This is an older style hotel much used for conferences - in fact there was a large one there during our 5 night stay. All the rooms have great ocean views , there are lovely gardens, a good pool area with bar and a decent private beach. Breakfast is basic continental. Within easy walking distance are a number of excellent restaurants.

Pleasant stay

Nice room kept very clean by very friendly and helping staff. Also the hotel beach is a great thing Diarama has. The missing link is food and beverages offer. Breakfast is also not very attractive. So I hope that this aspect may improve in future. Other then that a great place and if I'd certainly consider it again when I get back to Dakar.

Great views from a tired hotel

This very well placed hotel, with lovely views, has excellent 'front of house' staff, but is structurally very 'tired'. Architecturally, it recalls an old, East European government department. More importantly, it is in dire need of an internal facelift and renovation. It does have adequate-to-good conference facilities, and the conference food was well produced, but there would be better, and cheaper, options for a holiday venue.

I actually haven't enjoyed my stay at all. WiFI didn't worked in my room though I have complained it to reception . Breakfast was really disappointing. Though I have room and the view from the room was amazing.
