「We stopped in Geilo because of the way back to Oslo from Bergen. We knew nothing before arrival but we finally knew that it’s the great place for skiing. After our arrival, we checked in at 7 or 8 pm but the staff still told us the necessary information. The room is spacious but the interior of the ground and underground are in progress of renovation. 「Nice hotel and lobby area, the carpet needs replacing. Rooms were tiny and dated looking, needs upgrading. But great views and excellent location. Good breakfast」

「In between ski season and summer season catering for bus tours and us. Bar and restaurant closed. Electronic check in so no human to ask questions. A little out of town but we enjoyed the walk. Cleaners tried to help with our questions and the breakfast staff apologized for the chaos left by the bus tour. I don’t recall their website mentioning that there would be no check in staff between April and June.」

「Communication was slow and inefficient (they only replied a message in three days or so). Arrived late on the day and already told the camp site, then found that they didn’t provide the self check-in code as they thought payment was missing. Contacted hotels.com staff who was so nice to fix that.
