The room was really spacey, clean, and comfortable. This was the best hotel during our entire trips in Vietnam. What was really important for us, the bathroom was very convenient, spacey, and CLEAN!! The staffs were really nice, helpful, and polite. The laundry service was reasonably-priced, and they were received and delivered on time! The room was really spacey, once again, it's a gem to find a room like that for a cheap price in Vietnam. Oh, a SmartTV, too!
Some things to be aware of, but it didn't really bother us:
There is no AC anywhere in Dalat, no matter where you book, Dalat hotels DON'T have AC. They may have a circulation AC throughout the entire hotel, but there isn't an individual unit for each room. It wasn't a problem for us, the fan was good enough with the really cool weather temperature at Dalat. No humidity compared to anywhere else in the country. However, since there's no AC, there's a small window leading into the hallway for circulation. It was too high for us to adjust, so we couldn't close it when the guests on the same floor were being very noisy (early mornings, late at night).
Overall, a 5-star review happy customer! I would definitely come back here next time I visit Dalat, and I would definitely recommend this hotel!
The two bed room is great and large. Beds are confortable, the view from the window is very nice but no balcony actually. Sometimes, a bit noisy at night or even midnight but acceptable. No breakfast provided but you can easily found somewhere to have nice breakfast nearby.
It seems like someone first decides to build the rooms of the hotel, and only after finishing decided on how to run all the pipes and electrical. We stayed in two different rooms. One had a nice big bathroom, but then they ran all the of the AC tubes through the bathroom itself! And in that room, whenever it was sunny, the wall felt like it's on fire, and at night it was very cold. Our other room was on the fifth floor, but the elevator only goes up to the fourth floor! There were two beds, but an electric socket only next to one of them. And in the bathroom the shower poll was attached to a wooden block that was drilled to the wall, again due to poor planning, and no seperation between the shower and toilet so everything gets wet. Oh, and the drain is on the other side of the bathroom, not where the shower is. The beds in all the rooms were really hard, almost like lying on a piece of eood. It's a new hotel, such bad planning... It's a shame. Take you money and stay somewhere better for the same price

It was good staying at the Tea Leaf. Staffs are nice and welcomed. Only 450m walking from the hotel to the center and it is a lovely walking route.
Only feedback on shampoo & toothbrush they use are not good enough.
We booked a room without window. We understood that there is no air conditioning, but we didn't know that there is no fan at all. Therefore, the room was very stuffy. The staff was very friendly and helpful, so she brought a fan to the room but unfortunately, the fan was spoilt. Therefore, if you wish for best value of money, try to top up a bit and avoid room without window.
Staff was great, spoke good English very helpful. Wifi was ok spotty at times. Very clean well-established hotel in a good location with businesses and restaurants close by walking distance. Staff can arrange or advise what to do and where to go to have a good fun day, rain or shine things to do.
