"We have stayed here a few times and were sad to see it’s original rustic style changed to a modernized look. The rustic style was one of the reasons we enjoyed staying there. We came for spring break and some of the amenities were not guest or weather prepared. The game room had all out of order signs but only two or three games at most working. The outdoor lounge area only had two heaters set up and there were pipe leaks dripping onto the giant checkers play area making it a hazardous mess. Our room, hallways and lobby area were pretty clean. The staff overall was great and Daniel from the poolside waitstaff was awesome and friendly! "

"Our room was clean and comfortable. The setting is beautiful. There was no staff. We stayed two nights. The room was equipped with a tea kettle; 2 packets of coffee; and two bottles of water; no tea. Needless to say that our second morning, we had no coffee as none of these amenities were replenished. There was also no body lotion available. Certainly, the website oversold the actual place. We had no access to the "den". The pool was fine; though we did not use it as it was too cool. Also, only one of the tanks in the "chill" area was functional. If you desire solitude(which is great) and no service, this is your place. Assume it is better staffed and amenities replenished in the summer?"

"The place was incredible clean . Kitchen size was perfect and very clean . Air conditioner work perfectly and heater as well . We like the fact that is pet friendly. Parking was perfect size . Also perfect distance from restaurant and bars . Great place to stay . "

"I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay and the issues we experienced during check-in and with the condition of our room. Our check-in time was scheduled for 3:00 PM, however, when we arrived at the hotel, our room was not ready. We were required to wait past the designated check-in time, which was frustrating after planning our arrival based on the stated policy. Once we were finally able to access the room, we encountered a more concerning issue, the door would not properly lock. This created a safety concern and made us feel uncomfortable leaving our belongings in the room or relaxing during our stay. A functioning and secure door is a basic expectation for any hotel accommodation. The lock was fixed by maintenance but we were ready to go to sleep and waiting for them to fix the door was another inconvenience. We chose Hampton/Hilton because of its reputation for quality and reliability, so this experience was disappointing. I would appreciate your review of this situation and any steps you can take to address the inconvenience and safety concern we experienced."
