「The host greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming and friendly; assuring us that if we needed anything further to let her know. It was very well equipped: fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster, not forgetting a jug of fresh milk. Would definitely stay here again.」

「Limited parking at hotel, you’d have to get there early for a space. Checking was easy, not accessible hotel not lifts and a lot of stairs. Location good on high street with lots of shops about. Cleanliness of room was good, paid for deluxe room the advertised ‘king bed’ was two singles pushed together and was very hard, really bad sleep. Told as we arrived that they had no hot water, they told us we could go elsewhere if we wanted but it was a bank holiday weekend and no availability elsewhere...

「Lovely accommodation but a barking dog waking you in the morning isn’t what need on Easter Sunday. Great food but waiting an hr for simple breakfast to be served is silly 」

「Clean, decent shower with high pressure, bed is decent. Minimal rooms with no desks, can be loud but didn’t bother me No parking 」

「Superior room was excellent, welcoming and well presented on arrival. The guests living room was a great place to spend a cosy evening in front of the wood burning stove. Breakfast was excellent, fresh produce and good choice, and the fresh eggs were memorable. The electric charge point was a bonus. 」

「The good points are that the room was clean and hotel central. The bad points are that the hotel is very run down and nothing like the website photos. The furniture is old and cheap. The mattresses so soft they offer no support. The facilities are minimal. Staff sullen and grudging. Avoid as much better hotels & inns available. 」

「The room wasn’t bad, and nothing was inherently bad. It was relatively clean. Although, the bath panel was off, the room smelt damp, there was no hot water, the bath mat was mouldy. 」

「Just a short overnight stay in see concert. Just slept there. Warm inside hut. Bed perfect for one. Hot shower in morning. Woke up by peacocks squawking...fabulous」
