I will remind housekeeping to make sure that door remains locked after they complete room cleaning and to do a better job identifying cleanliness issues.

It sounds like you were placed into a room that was not ready for occupancy and for that we deeply apologize. The lights above the sink are not controlled by the switch to the side of the entryway. It is actually controlled by a small toggle switch on the outlet plate next to the mirror. Guests who stay here often miss this and think the lights are not working as a result. The AC in your room, which is one of the last few older units left in our hotel, is now at end of life and is scheduled for replacement soon with a new modern unit. We apologize for any inconveniences you experienced and hope to serve you again better in the future.

We are short staffed and are a dusty area due to be located on the edge of town making the necessary bi-weekly deep cleaning during peak season difficult to schedule. We are making progress on this and it will no longer be an issue shortly. We appreciate your bringing the faucet and door issue to our attention so we can have maintenance rectify it. The bathroom door in your room is quite large/heavy to accommodate fire code requirements and wheel chair access. It needs periodic readjustment as a result of the strain placed on the hinges.
