Great!
Great people. Nice accommodations. Pretty patio. Very convenient
The hotel had a great location for price we paid. Room was clean with very small bathroom, smart TV, heater many electrical outlets, and WiFi. The check out was early at 10 am, but they let us leave luggage. The breakfast was decent. They offered taxi to airport for charge, prices were comparable with Uber, it was good.
I would say that this place is outstanding and exceptional. My wife and I spent four days and three nights, and we had the best time, and it was a memorable trip.
Gimena and Erlinda at the front desk were the kindest ladies we met. They did everything in their power to make our stay so special. They gave us what I need without any hesitates. They made early breakfast for only us because we should leave early morning. Last day they kept my carriers after checking out and gave us a memorial gift of Cusco.
We had great sleep. Quiet and super affordable. Centrally located, we walked everywhere because we felt very safe during our Cusco. There are cafes and restaurants about in five-minute walk from the hotel.
Askha Cusco Inn Hotel is the most magical place! What a stunning, peaceful, special place. where Erlinda's love and care are draped around our shoulders.
What a magnificent experience we had at Askha Cusco Inn Hotel. I would say thank Erlinda for your amazing hospitality. The way you gave us filled our heart with great gratitude.
I would strongly recommend staying at Askha Cusco Inn Hotel for the most amazing experience. Hope to visit you in future again. Much love to you all dearest Erlinda.
Pros:
-comfortable, warm
-quiet
-safe
Cons:
-communication
Booked three nights as a solo female before and after the Inca Trail hike. When I arrived, no one was there to check me in (despite telling them what time I arrived). There was no one in the little office area. Someone who was working on the landscaping let me into my room.
Same thing happened when I tried to go down for the free breakfast, allegedly starting at 6:30 am. Headed down at 7, no one was there. Couldn't find any areas that even looked like they were serving breakfast. Ended up buying breakfast at a local restaurant.
And a third time, when I needed to check out early. No one in the office, no one anywhere. Ended up just leaving my keys in the room with a note.
This hotel could definitely benefit from some more signs with clearer direction. "This is the office (hours)". "Breakfast here (hours)." Instead you just walk down a little corridor with the word "Askha" and an arrow pointing left on the cement walkway. But after you turn left, there's no signs anywhere for Askha. I think there's a travel company located in the first door. Then there's two unmarked doors which seemed to be always closed, or vacant.
Room itself was great. Warm and comfortable beds. Water never really got warm for the shower, but I lived. Much quieter than other hotels in Cusco since it's not right next to the road with all the honking. Would have been a great place to stay if there had been better communication.
The front desk girls were so nice and always helpful. Breakfast was nice fresh fruit and teas and eggs. Location great. And a little bit off the main road so you dont step right into it. Hot shower. Space heater (I went in rainy season). They gave me a blow dryer too upon request. They also gave me a massive thermos of hot water to always have in my room. Very welcoming and well priced! Room is a little small. But I didn’t mind! I had two beds. Maybe that’s why
Overall our stay at Askha Inn was pleasant and fine considering it is a 2 star facility. At first i was anxious finding the place but fortunately our taxi driver expertly got us through the cochera to the reception lobby. English proficiency of the staff was limited but we managed with sign language and google translate. The hotel manager may want to ensure that the room be resupplied with bottle water and toilet paper as needed so we don’t need to ask for them at the reception desk. Furthermore, the hot water supply to the shower need to be reliable. On the last night we barely got warm water. Thank you for the nice gift of a llama doll upon check out.
Expect cold room if on winter, and the water is difficult to have at the good temperature during shower but I think its the same everywhere there. Its all I can think of.

If you can afford to stay elsewhere, do it
This was one of the worst hotels we’ve stayed at in a while. Hot water in the shower for only a few minutes, only cold water in the taps. Poorly built building so it is extremely noisy - can hear every noise - footstep, closing doors, other people talk g.
You have to walk down a dark unlit alley to get to the hotel which is unnerving. Breakfast “begins” at 630 but we didn’t eat it either morning because at 645 nothing was set up. Wifi was ok.
Perfect location. All amenities at a great price point. I stayed in the top floor room before & after a trek. Circular staircase to room with lofted ceiling and skylight - loved it. Staff are wonderful; friendly and helpful.
Staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms clean. Hot showers seem to be a commodity that only happens after several pleads. Breakfast is average. Nothing extravagant. Keep in mind heater is extra $5/day and they unplug it when u leave to come back to ice cold room.
Excelente!!!
