The place is beautiful and clean. The location is good during the day but at night it is too noisy. Staff is super friendly. Sadly it we couldn’t stay longer so to the noise.
I had a wonderful stay at Artinka Boutique Hotel in Cusco. The hotel itself is charming, clean, and very comfortable. What stood out most was the helpfulness of Alexander, who went out of his way to assist and arrangements, making the stay even more enjoyable. The location is ideal, close to the main sights also appreciated the cozy ambiance and personalized service throughout the stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cusco looking for a boutique experience with friendly staff.”
Really great place to stay in Cusco. We actually have stayed here twice. The rooms are very cute, it’s in a great location on the plaza near shopping, restaurants and bars. The neighborhood is a little noisy but that is to be expected of a central location and they provide ear plugs! Also they have very reliable WiFi!
The staff is SUPER friendly and helpful ! The hotel is really cool, clean, and in the heart of all the action. The problem is the bars and clubs are there too. The music goes on all night til 6-am. If you’re in to that this is the place for you. BUT, if you’re in to getting you’re good night sleep I would get something away from bars/clubs.
The hotel itself was very nice. The beds were comfortable, they provided coffee & various teas and everything was very clean. But the main reason for a hotel is to get sleep. The hotel is next to several bars that have live music. It starts at 7pm and doesn't stop until around 5am - prime sleeping hours. The music is very loud with the bass coming through the building. The hotel does provide ear plugs but you will not be able to enjoy any quiet time or watch tv during those hours. It's a shame as the hotel is very nice. If it was in a different location, I would have given it 5 stars.
Very close to the center square. Everything inside was solid. Room overall was nice. Bed was good bathroom was ok(shower poorly designed and drained). Staff were very nice. Unfortunatly the rooms weren't sealed well to noise and there is a bar/rave that sounds next door that plays music till 5am.
It's a charming boutique hotel just steps away from the Plaza De Armas and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The music is pretty loud in the neighborhood and goes late, so if you're a light sleeper you may have difficulty. I used ear plugs, a sound machine, and white noise on youtube on the tv and slept fine. Using an Uber is a challenge as others have mentioned so you may be best off just walking to the Plaza and taking a cab.
This property is conveniently located near the square, restaurants, an atm, and stores for shopping. The hotel provides pick up from the airport and will park as close to the hotel as possible(about a 5 min walk). A heater is also provided in the room as well and the rooms look exactly like the pictures that are provided on the hotels profile. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The room was cleaned daily and they even held our bags on the last day of our trip because we had a late checkout which gave us an opportunity to explore Cusco more. We will be visiting Cusco again and will definitely stay again.
Hotel artinka was beautifully set out, rooms were simple and well decorated. Bathroom big and lots of hot water and good pressure. Hotel is centrally located just off Plaza de Armas. Sadly the noise of the discotecas every night made our stay much less enjoyable. The sound is not light it is solid, continuous and loud. We both slept with loop ear plugs and could still hear the party music. The music didn’t end until well into the early hours of the morning, some days until 4am. This is not a weekend only problem, it is a noise problem for anyone after relaxing sleep after big days of hiking, adventures and simple to recoup on your travels. For the noise alone I give this hotel 1 star, if sound proofing could be coordinated then it would be 4 stars.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
We stayed here 3 nights and my reviews are mixed. First let me say the location can’t be beat! It is literally right on the Plaza De Armas. There’s tons of stores and delicious restaurants all within walking distance. Secondly the staff was very nice. Now with the things I didn’t like. Even though this hotel is “new” it’s still in an old building. We had issues with the shower draining slowly and the toilet lever kept getting stuck. The shower is small with a shower head high above that doesn’t move or detach so water would just run all down my head. It’s a clean hotel but very very basic. Zero amenities(water, breakfast, etc) but again if you walk outside the door you can find everything you need. The bed is hard as a rock! Like literally the worst hotel bed I’ve ever slept on and it prevented me from sleeping the entire 3 nights. They also had one flimsy pillow on the bed. I had to ask for a 2nd which was still no support. It’s an open air hotel so there is no temperature control for the room. You’re either gonna be too hot or too cold. If you’re cold, I believe they offer heaters. Finally and most importantly the hotel is on a small side street with tons of bars and they play loud music ALL NIGHT LONG. Meaning they may not start until after midnight and they go between 4-5am! I know because we had early morning tours that begin at 4:30 and I would still hear the music and see people outside the hotel doors. No sleep along with altitude sickness don’t mix. Don’t recommend
Great service and friendly staff. It is a noisy area so if you are a light sleeper it might not work for you. But after a day of touring I was too tired to care. The entrance doesn’t allow for cars to drive so you will have to walk from the plaza. Most taxi services we worked with helped us with our suitcases so it wasn’t too bad. Also they stop check-ins at midnight so make sure you get there before then.
Two of us stayed at this beautiful place for 3 nights and couldn’t be more happy with it! After a long day trekking, coming to a room that had a rainfall shower head and fluffy sheets was truly the perfect way to unwind. The service was excellent and was very accommodating to anything we needed. The location could not be more ideal - it is placed within a block of nightlife or the Plaza de Armas where there are many beautiful and delicious dining options with views of the Cathedral. The decor was welcoming and beautiful with hot tea or coffee awaiting you to heat you up from the cold . We cannot recommend it enough !
It’s was a beautiful hotel, and if it wasn’t for all the local noise outside, it would have been a 5 out of 5 for me. There are some rooms placed in the middle of the hotel that avoids the street clubs outside so if you can ensure one of those rooms then room away, it was a stunning building. Another thing to mention is that the hotel is on a pedestrian street so no car access. The local music from the night clubs goes on till 4am in the morning so alittle hard to ignore unless you’re out partying to.
Not bad, but the room was not quite as spacious as in the pictures. I was right off the lobby which was not ideal. I didn't have an outside facing window. The door lock was a bit wonky. Very loud music from next door, both nights until around 2am. They give you earplugs. The biggest annoyance was there there is literally no signage for the hotel door. I had to ask 2 neighbouring shops where is the hotel before I could find the door!
