「Very basic hotel, the double bed was quite small. Friendly staff but we don’t speak any French and no one spoke English so we struggled to make ourselves understood - they did their best though. Great food in onsite restaurants 」

「The room was spacious and warm. The owner met us on arrival, he was very nice and spoke French clearly and slowly so we could understand. He was very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, good choice on offer and the coffee was great excellent. We would happily stay again.」

「The room was ok, but missed airconditioning. The staff is not very helpful and they only speak French, they even do not try to speak English or try to help you. When you run a hotel and only speak French that is not the way to do. Food is good, taste and quality.」

「Very easy check-in with access to the car park, reception staff very welcoming and spoke perfect English. Room was big and plenty of space for the dog. No kettle in room and no hotel bar. 」

But all in all (& for the price) was excellent. Chaumont is a beautiful town. Buffalo Grill brilliant!!」
