Everything in one place

Excellent service, great restaurant for dinner/breakfast located on site. Conveniently located just on the outskirts of Gore. Room was noisier than I expected with road noise as close to 100kmph highway.

No complaints about our room except for no aircon or fans. Our room and the buildings hallways were extremely hot. We were lucky we were not on the ground floor and were able to leave our sliding door open out to the balcony. We got traffic noise but better than being too hot. It was awesome having a laundry on our level and no payment required. A staff member showed us how to send our luggage up to our level by a luggage lift. We enjoyed a meal, drink and game of pool at the local on site. The bar manager for the night Laura, was an excellent host to our group of 4. All staff that we came in contact were very nice.

Mostly very good.....

We booked here as we have stayed before and know the upstairs rooms are lovely, and we were participating in a Vintage Car Club Rally run by the Gore Branch from the clubrooms just across the road. As expected, the room was lovely, modern, clean, comfortable and well-appointed - except for the lack of coathangers. We had two, one wooden and one plastic. Reception was able to rustle up three wire "dry cleaner" ones and that was all. Dinner was excellent, the food was delicious and the portions huge - my wife was defeated by the calamari entree and the cheesecake. Breakfast was very disappointing. The "hot" buffet was either cold or covered in a thick skin or, in some cases, both. The cold buffet was also nothing to write home about. I think next time we stay we will just order off the breakfast menu provided in the room guide and hope to get something freshly-cooked!

Staff were excellent even servicing on Xmas Day! Stayed in one of the cabin style lodges and we were very impressed! The cabin was modern, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. We dined in the main lodge and had the Xmas Day Buffet lunch with family that live locally. Unfortunately we couldn’t get in for dinner at the restaurant as didn’t have a booking but the bar food was suffice and the lady behind the bar was fabulous and accommodating. Nice quiet spot with pretty gardens. Would happily stay again.

Good value for the price. Not much choice for dining options but if you don't want to eat in the hotel restaurant or attached public bar there are more options on the town of Gore just a short drive away.
