The location was perfect. It was walking distance to Store Bay beach. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was big and spacious. The property itself was beautiful with access to two pools and a private beach. The breakfast was good as well. I would definitely stay again.

We arrived early and the staff were very welcoming. We left our bags and had lunch at their bar by the beach. Our room was ready early. it was very clean and inviting after sitting outside in the sun! Great location too! We walked from the airport and were close enough to walk anywhere we want to go!

My wife and I had the breakfast and dinner package and everything tasted amazing. The pool and lamdscaping areas were gorgeous. Our only issue was that the room and bathroom need to be updated. The shower we had was extremely tiny and narrow. There wasnt ventilation in the bathroom area either. The room did not have sufficient electrical outlets and had no usb ports. The room was extremely bright. Thankfully they sent someone to cover the window which made the brightness not so bad but you would think it is morning in the room even when it is nightime. The staff were friendly and helpful. Also dinner was too late (7:00 pm).

The staff were great and attentive. The location is nice. There was only one hiccup. I massaged the hotel a few days before my trip to set up airport transfer, as it shows on Expedia that they offer airport shuttle. When we arrived in Tobago, we looked around about 20-25 minutes for the airport shuttle but did not see anything from our hotel. When I called the hotel multiple times and the phone would ring but there was no answer. It seems to be a reoccurring theme in Trinidad & Tobago, as this happened in the city as well.

The resort is breathtaking especially at night with all of the lights. It was really a relaxing and fun atmosphere at the same time. The staff was accommodating and made every effort to be sure we were satisfied.

Overall, our stay at Tropikist Beach Hotel & Resort was pleasant, with both positives and a few notable drawbacks. The room itself was clean, and the bed and linens felt fresh and comfortable. We opted for the all-inclusive package, which included meals and drinks throughout the day and added good convenience to the stay. The meals were acceptable but not standout, earning about a 6/10 overall. One issue during breakfast was the presence of birds in the dining area due to the open layout and location. Leaving food unattended often resulted in birds attempting to eat it, which felt unhygienic. Birds also perched above the seating area, which was not ideal. Another concern was one evening’s outdoor poolside dinner, where the seating was too close together and poorly lit, making the experience uncomfortable. Regarding the room, there were a couple of issues. On one occasion, a room attendant attempted to enter despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being displayed. The sign itself was old and torn, so it’s possible it may have flipped due to wind. Additionally, in the early morning hours around 3 a.m., large numbers of birds in nearby trees created significant noise that carried into the room and disrupted sleep. That said, the staff were consistently courteous, friendly, and helpful, which made a positive difference overall. Despite the few inconveniences, we still found the stay enjoyable and appreciated the hospitality shown by the team.
