"Whilst the staff and facilities were good, I was disappointed with the food. I had the coronation chicken terrine starter.which had a large piece of chicken skin in it. The staff offered me a replacement which I declined and they did not charmed for it. I later asked if I could have fresh fruit for dessert which the said would be available for breakfast. At breakfast the only fresh fruit available was watermelon. I may be picky but I feel that these minor items should be catered for."

"We stayed for 2 nights. It was a disappointing stay. The restaurant wasn't available so we only had bar food choices which was very limited as the fish fryer wasn't working. The food wasn't hot enough and we had asked for ketchup which never arrived. The tv in the room was unwatchable so ended up watching the England game on my phone which wasn't ideal. We booked single rooms however one of the rooms was located close to either air conditioning or heating equipment which was a little noisy...

"To be honest, I only needed a bed for the night and didn't see much of the staff, although they were friendly enough! Having read glowing reviews of the accommodation, I was rather disappointed. I'd describe the room I stayed in as pretty basic and I was somewhat taken aback to find that the tea and coffee making facilities were 'limited' - rationed to 1 teabag (plus instant coffee, which I don't drink) per night and, for the first time in all the years that I've stayed in hotels and inns, a...
