「Excellent location for a visit to Friesland. Very central and still far enough away from busy routes to be very quiet and serene. So many options for a holiday in this location.」

「Voldoende parkeerplaatsen, op wandelafstand van het theater en de stad. Mooie ruime moderne kamer. Prima ontbijt. 」

「Eines der besten Frühstücke, die ich je hatte. Tolle Auswahl, sehr gute Qualität der einzelnen Lebensmittel und aufmerksames Personal. Wir hatten ein DeLuxe Zimmer. Auch das war außergewöhnlich. Ungewöhnlich warm, daß man mit Badehose hätte in die Sauna gehen müssen. Deswegen habe ich darauf verzichtet.」

「Ausstattungsmäßig war es ein sehr schönes Hotel. Es ist nur ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen 😔, schade eigentlich. Türen und Schrank kaputt, Spa/Wellness Bereich teilweise mit Schimmel behaftet. Sonst gab es nichts zu meckern.」

「Amazing River View by the restaurant. Room is clean, and people here is very kindly. It's just about half hour from Steenwjk station to here by the bus via Geithorn. However, the last bus leave Steenwjk is about 1830 everyday. 」

「Beautifully renovated historic building with beautiful garden and a top-notch restaurant. The new lift is especially good, saving us the effort to wrestle luggages up the steep stairs typically of older Dutch buildings. Quiet surroundings at the historic city center. Very nice and helpful staff. Oh, and the breakfast is well worth the money. Everything is tasty.」
