「Great location, good facilities」

「The rooms at Porters are beautifully kept, spacious and with ample amenities. The location is excellent and our suite was superb for our family. Staff at Porters are always a highlight - going out of their way to help and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The surroundjng area is loaded with dining options and is a short drive to surrounding cellar doors and scenic spots that Hawke's Bay has to offer. We will be back for our third stay in April 2026!」

「A bit of a mix up first when we were allocated a room with a knock on the door to say sorry we were supposed to be in another room. Not a problem at all. Our new room was very clean, very tidy, very spacious. Great rates and a great location. Very friendly management, would happily re-book.」

「We had such a great stay! The room was spotless and beautifully presented you can tell they take real pride in keeping everything clean and comfortable. The pool was also nice and clean, although it was raining at the time of our stay, my children thoroughly enjoyed it. The customer service was absolutely amazing friendly, welcoming, and so helpful from start to finish. Our whole experience exceeded expectations, and we would definitely stay again. Highly recommend! 😊」

「Everything was perfect for our stay, i was staying there for 2 nights the staff are so friendly and welcoming Hope I’ll come visit again thanks for having us This will be our go to for Hasting」

「The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. All appliances were good and adequate crockery and cutlery supplied. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the outdoor amenities were great. Would recommend staying here.」

「The room is impressive! I am happily surprised by the SPA bath. The room is spacious. There are a lot of windows which gives open views! I particularly like the well-equipped kitchen. I bought spaghetti and beef and cooked for ourselves. It was so enjoyable! The location is convenient for visiting Te Mata Peak and Cape Kidnappers but still needs around 20 mins drive. Parking spaces are not quite enough during the peak seasons, like my stay during Christmas.」

「Like : Convenient Location adjacent to downtown Hastings. Lots of parking space. Spacious room and bathroom to fit a family's requirement. All furniture and fixtures are very clean. Unlike : My room number is 20, closest to the Omahu road, and the traffic noise badly disturbed my sleep. Strongly suggest to avoid this room.」

「Manager was wonderful and support staff were super lovely too! The room was clean, with heaps of beds which surprised us. We only booked for two adults and a child, but you could easily sleep 5 people. Such a great place to stay if you have kids. We would definitely stay again 😊」
