「We have stayed with Steve and Deb many times, the Flinders never loses its appeal. This time we invited our UK friends for a taste of the outback, we had 4 days in the Flinders, plenty of time to checkout the gorges etc. Unfortunately it rained and rained and we were restricted to the sealed roads only, sometimes the best laid, and longest laid plans just don't work out, perhaps next time.」

「Acacia Cottage was lovely with a stunning view of the landscape. We wanted a taste of 'real Australia' and definitely got to get away from it all for a couple of nights. Visited Orrorro for a day which was lovely (check out Maggie Rendezvous cafe) even if it was on a road not really meant for a 2WD. Gorgeous sunsets, absolutely lovely people who run it - wine, beer and basic supplies all available from the on-site shop.」
