"Cant fault it. Will def use again. We used the bar and restaurant. Parking at train station £6 (free if blue badge holder and very short flat walk) we didnt do breakfast but love that you can order up until 2am to have it in your room (tray charges etc all very clear) Location great, walkable to all amenities. Great value for a luxurfeeling stay"

"Great location, heart of the city, everything walkable. Good apartment, but noisy, nearby pubs and servicing vehicles into the small hours. Light pair of ear plugs works for me. It's clean and has a small kitchen and cooking utensils with a good size fridge. A scourer and a tea towel would be appreciated No window only a skylight so was a little stuffy, but they do supply a fan which works great. Will be back"

"The room was a good size with a decent size kitchenette. It was nice that washing up liquid, cloth and tea towel was provided. Bed was firm but comfortable. The main issue was the heat in the room, it was 29 degrees all night. To be fair we are having a very hot summer but it would be good to have a fan to use. It was quite dark too and we needed the light on during the day, I don’t think the black walls helped! That being said, I would still recommend the apartments as they were ideal for a couple of nights and the free parking was an added bonus. We were able to walk into the town centre (about 20 mins). We used a keycard rather than the app and that worked well. The instructions on how to get the keycard was clear, though I did have to telephone the help desk as I hadn’t received the instructions but it was dealt with quickly and they texted them to me straight away I would use them again but would bring a fan"

"I've stayed at Old Silk Appartments twice so far in apartments 8 and 9. Both I found spotless, white soft towels, comfy beds, tastefully decorated well maintained and adequately appointed. Large fridge freezer, 4 ring hob oven and microwave, basic set of kitchen utensils and a couple of pans adequate to cook something simple. Large TV with Netflix etc WiFi etc It's better than a hotel room in terms of space and comfort at considerably less cost. There are lots of late night food places in Fargo village and the city centre restaurants only 10 mins walk away. There is a small car park opposite the front door and a large one at the end of the road. Ideal for the university and venues in the south east of the city."
