The Tyee Motel was easy, affordable, and quaint. The bed was super comfortable. Walls are paper thin, but I slept through the night just fine thanks to a comfortable bed. No issues at all.

Over $100 for a room at a motel ridiculously priced. No amenities whatsoever. Not even a breath. Free breakfast at the restaurant that is a part of the motel. We did play pool

This was a great place for us to stay. It is conveniently located very close to our daughter and grandkids who we like to visit. Will use this many more times in the future.

Yes it was very unfortunate the Entire Island had the Internet go out. We did not get it back until the following morning. As to the heat issue, the owner was onsite and if you told him he probably could have addressed it.sorry your stay had these issues.Regards,The Tyee

Older motel but good value for our overnight on the island and close to the Coupeville ferry dock to catch the ferry to Port Townsend.

Thanks for the review. Yes we are a historical building in Coupeville, the rest/bar is a hundred years old. The motel is not historical and we have been continually making upgrades to it

I was surprised by the cleanliness of my room. it is a very old property but the new owners are doing a great job cleaning it up. More work to be done, but on the right tract. it was quiet and clean.

Eh. The bed and bedding were ok but not great, the place was clean but in general disrepair. Not many other choices in Coupeville, so this was acceptable for access to fabulous Ebey’s trails and nice waterfront village.

Small motel, dated but actually room was bigger than on pictures. We came for a wedding and had a lot of luggage with us, everything fit. We were able to put all our clothes on hangers on a long clothes road. Very friendly and helpful personnel. Soft beds, nice blankets and fluffy light blue towels. Heating was making some noise but it’s old and, I guess, too expensive to fix. What would be an easy fix is blackout curtains on a window. Just buy some in Target and put them on a road, not expensive fix but would be very nice to have blackout curtains.

We loved our cute little room! A couple things could make it better…..more light above the sink and a better shower head. The bed was very comfortable!!

Old buildings that haven’t been updated in a very long time. The bed was comfortable but the cleanliness was subpar. Cobwebs, rot in the walls and hair in the shower were a few examples of why $100 a night is far too much.

Not worth the money!
The 1st room I went into had a bunch of hair in the shower, the floor has not been swept, you could feel dust particles and dirt under your feet, the carpets were loaded with some kind of dust and dirt on them.. It's very old drafty and if you turn the heat on over 70ﾟ it'll cut you off in the middle of the night. The people in the restaurant were rude and every time I called they acted like I put them out when needing something. Internet is very poor quality. It's not much lighting so it's very dark in the parking lot. The only good thing I could say about this place was the bartenders are great, very friendly and very helpful because that's where I had to go to get help!

minimum comforts but unique and great location
A bit run down but clean, affordable and in a prime location. It is what you would expect from an older roadside motel. The onsite restaurant and bar is a plus and the staff were very friendly. Locatiin downtown Coupeville is really great. Coupeville is a neat little town with great waterfront shops and restaurants.

Clean and convenient
Enjoyed our overnight stay, which included a nightcap at the taproom and a fine breakfast in the restaurant. With a grocer across the street and the central location, we will be staying again. Room was basic, and very clean. WiFi good. Nice linens. Only real downside was the mattress, which felt a bit like an air-pumped camping mattress needing air.

We expected fairly basic accommodations, which is pretty much what we got. Our one significant complaint is about the shower, which is unusually tiny and, more importantly, did not deliver truly hot water.

Liked: Quiet after the restaurant closed. Friendly staff. Didn't like: bed frame (middle support) was broken. Room was dusty. Empty bottles were under the bed/nightstand. We left or towels outside as instructed, but they weren't picked up that evening and no clean towels were provided. Luckily, when we inquired at the restaurant, they provided us clean towels and picked up the dirty ones. Again: great staff.

Took awhile to check in as their system and yours don’t match up and at first they said I had to pay the full price but after 5 minutes they got it straightened out. The room was very small and really needed some basic maintenance. I’ll never stay there again.
