It is an 1890s house. If you like old houses this is for you. The bathroom was new but done in a Victorian style. Easy walk to old town on the waterfront with fun shops and 5 or 6 restaurants

Overall we’d recommend this place as an affordable place to lay your head in a really beautiful town. Others have mentioned that it’s an old house, and with that comes character and sometimes things you’re not used to. If old houses are your bag, this will suit you just fine.

Carla was very sweet and attentive, however the room was not great. Very run down, smelled of cigarettes and was freezing. The heating didn’t work so the room was colder inside than it was outside. We ended up leaving to head back from the trip early to avoid sleeping here. You get what you pay for- an affordable stay but at what cost? The staff is very sweet, so this is by no means a bad rating for them.

Great unique place to stay

Loved this place. After realizing what a unique place this was, we booked the cottage. So cool. Host greeted us and it was just so easy. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We arrived late, but Carla was there to meet us . the restaurants had closed, but Carla showed up with homemade pork chops and fresh cherries. Amazing hospitality, above and beyond all expectations.Thank you, Carla! Would definitely stay here again.
