「A very reasonably priced room which was clean, had an iron and hangers and most importantly of all a comfy bed! The bathroom could however have done with a upgrade as the shower looked a bit shabby but was working well. The breakfast buffet was delicious! A decent option for those wanting to stay for a long weekend.」

「The pub is charming but very, very loud and our room opened out to the courtyard. The room was very hot because it faced the sun and the day was bright, so we needed to open the window and then had a lot of pub noise. The en suite bath was tiny but operational. On the plus side, the staff were super friendly and helpful and despite a busy evening, they managed to seat us so we could eat. The food as good too both for dinner and breakfast.」

「Nice property and facilities Additional Breakfast cost of £23 is very overpriced. They don’t open the coffee bar or snack bar until 10am which sort of forces you to have breakfast as the nearest cafe is some distance. Other than that, a good location and friendly staff.」

「Room was in dire need of refurbishment. Everything was in a pretty bad state. The room was big and the beds were comfortable, but carpeting was gross and bathroom was awkward and very old and cracked. Also needed more sockets to plug in chargers.」

「Disabled parking was used by delivery drivers/trucks and not clearly defined in the car parking area! It may be helpful to have another blue badge area marked out on the to allow access This is not a complaint, merely an observation and I will certainly return…Arthur Rynhart」

「Short stay of two nights. Hotel has been refurbished to a very high standard. Staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for me. Secure parking and foyer. Great pub within 100 metres. Pharmacy opposite, shop nearby and a nearby Italian restaurant. Continental breakfast was ample as was the hotel bar. I didn't have the chance to use the hotel restaurant although other guests mentioned it was very good. Lastly it's two or three minutes off the motorway....perfect.」
