"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. "By far the oldest house we have slept in. The owners did an excellent job making it comfortable and charming. We loved that the host went through the house with us upon arrival and gave us an orientation. He even picked apples and pears from the yard and put them in a basket for us on the cozy table. The house is quite large with lots of sitting areas, a nice fireplace and cozy beds. We loved the town Adare and highly recommended this stay"

"We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. There are pubs but no customers, that we saw. Im assuming summertime is the busy season. The...
