The hotel check in was exemplary. The young fellow who works the night shift (we checked in at 7pm) went out of his way showing us maps and giving restaurant recommendations. He explained the local food, how to order and the differences. We had an issue with the safe and he fixed it straight away. If they could clone him, I would only book in these hotels. He made the trip better. Thank you.

The hotel is in a great location but very old. Needs a “facelift”. Rooms are of decent size, with a beautiful view to Douro River and bridge from the balcony.
Good breakfast was included in our stay.
Shower leaked with every use.
