"Large hotel with very nice pool area.Breakfast buffet has nice selection and hotel is right on the beach at the quieter end of the Fuengirola beach.Rooms are large but quite simple.The balconies in many rooms in Building Rhonda have high walls with no openings so you cannot see anything if you sit down.Bus to town is very close by or you can walk into town about 2 klm and take a train to all the small towns between Fuengirola and Malaga.Very nice by European standards but no coffee machine or irons in the rooms."

"We had a wonderful stay, The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy nearby attractions. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. Their hospitality and attention to detail were outstanding. A special thank you to Jeerah and Sara, whose service went above and beyond our expectations. They were always friendly, professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our experience memorable. We highly recommend the Obal Hotel and would gladly stay here again. "We were greeted with a complimentary drink on arrival which was very welcome after a flight delay of an hour and a half! Smiling and helpful staff at reception and made us feel very confident we’d be taken care of. Only very slight niggle in room was lack of drawer space but other than that beds comfy and little chocolates left on pillows a lovely touch also the complimentary toiletries in the bathroom and shower room. Everything very clean and cleaning staff wonderful. Breakfast was incredible. Great buffet choice and nice selection from menu too. We had out three year old grandson with us and he was well catered for. Staff also very accommodating supplying us with a cot after we’d tried and failed to get him to sleep in the sofa bed! We were in Marbella for our son’s wedding and pre wedding drinks had also been arranged at the hotel. This was wonderfully handled. We would highly recommend a stay in this lovely hotel with its professional and courteous staff."

"I returned to hotel Ritual this year, and one of the many reasons I always book this hotel was partly for its pool and leisure facilities. The pool area is spacious usually with great staff and a fantastic atmosphere. During my stay, the pool area was occupied by organised events and large numbers of non-resident visitors for several days, which significantly restricted guests' ability to use the facilities. There were 3 days during my stay where I was unable to get to the pool area until at least late afternoon which made it all a little redundant I had issues with trying also obtain the lift key for the beach with the 3 different times I asked I was informed it was unavailable and to check later. The superior room was spacious, with great facilities and a great sea view. I did however notice a smell of stale smoke from the room on arrival and on one occasion my room was not cleaned because 3pm I was told was too late. I had a great time as always in torremolinos but I do feel there was a duty to inform me of the multiple events taking place and the restrictions this may have placed on using the facilities and amenities advertised. Had I been aware of the impact this may have had on my trip, I may have chosen alternative accommodation."
