"The grounds were beautiful. The pool was warm and clean..a car is needed as there is not many places that are safe to walk to. The description says there is a beach, there is no beach on property or walkable. We had an amazing dinner at Portale nearby recommended and arranged by owner. Amazing dinner but no real town to walk about. This is a great place if you have a car and want to explore nearby beaches. Close to the train station. "Beautiful resort located directly on the water. Beautifully-maintained property with very kind and hospital staff. Over an hour away from Lamezia Terme airport. This was our first time in Calabria and we'll be back for sure. Plan to book taxis (which are a bit expensive, but it's understandable for the region) or rent a car to explore Ricadi and Capo Vaticano. Visiting Tropea is a must, about a 15-minute drive from the resort."
