「Communication from the owner was excellent. The staff was amazing and patient with our lack of Spanish. The food was delicious and made dining stress free for my wife and me. The grounds and pool were also quite nice. If “bang for your buck” is a priority, I recommend La Maracuya. It’s a little remote, but we wanted some quiet time, and the location didn’t prevent us from exploring. We visited the pacific beaches and El Valle de Anton via rental car. 「What an incredible view. Watching the sunrise over the Pacific horizon was the highlight of every day. The suites have everything you need, clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. You can also enjoy lon g walks on the beach at any time of day, including at night to take in the amazing view of the stars and, if you're lucky, a couple of planets.」

Regresaré pero preparado con alimentos y bebidas. Otro detalle, sólo aceptan pago con transferencia o Yappy que es un método para personales nacionales, no para extranjero. No aceptan Tarjeta de crédito, también deberían de aclararlo y que no será expedía quien cobre. 」

「The first room they gave us was dirty and had a dead roach on the floor. Also didn’t have hot water. The second room was cleaner but still water was not hot and room had very poor lighting. Shower head has to be replaced as it splashes everywhere except directly down. Pool areas were nice. 」

「The hotel is beautifully located surrounded by a tropical garden. We had a luxury room with a pretty view but to get there we had to climb very steep steps. The food was very good but the dinner/lunch menu was the same the 4 days we stayed there. 」

The room was squeaky clean, the staff was very helpful always able to help with suggestions and making our stay as comfortable as possible, the beach is a few steps away and the beach chairs were so comfy. 「Everything was great at the site. Beautifully appointed with lacquered wood, stucco, and tiles. The grounds are also beautiful. The host, Victoria, was unusually obliging. Can't say enough about this one. The downside is that Expedia booked two rooms for me and I was charged for the one I didn't need. 」
