"The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are fab, farm to table food, the pool is gorgeous, we had a 1 bed townhouse which was lovely. However was it worth £835 a night? No. Compared to other 5 star hotels it was lacking. Pretty much all activities had an additional fee, even the cycling bikes. The food was nice but nothing amazing. The staff were poor, couldn’t get simple requests like no dressing on a salad, called reception about the aircon and they said they’d call back… they never did. Again not the service from hotels of similar prices I’ve stayed in elsewhere.
I also think this hotel would be better suited as adults only."
