「Quaint, modern and very clean hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Location was a little isolated so you have to take a cab everywhere, but a lovely spot to relax. 」

Stephanie was truly a breath of fresh air at the front desk and ensured my bags would be brought upstairs to my room promptly (they were). I chose this hotel quicly while en route and could not have been more impressed. The cleanliness was on point and the entire vibe was funky and fun. 「Good place to stay, restaurants and supermarkets around, not far from the downtown, people are nice.」

「Stayed for 5 nights with our two young kids. Accommodations were perfect for our family. Nice restaurant. We did the signature all inclusive and it met all our needs. I would definitely go back again. Staff was so nice and accommodating. I did request a crib. I was told it wasn’t guaranteed but it do show up around 8:30pm the night we checked in. Not ideal for a 2 year old but at least we had it. 」

「Spent most of our day time at Infinity Pool, very nice, except for lack of chairs. Most are "gone" by 9am with just towels on them.」

「Property was pitiful, small, dirty, bugs, inadequate shower, couldn’t flush toilet paper, was told by checking host we needed to put to in the trash and not the toilet. Extremely small room, air didn’t work and no lock on the door. Want a full refund, didn’t stay ever one hour.」

「There is private parking. There is a secure entry that has a separate lock. The site is very nice with lots of greenery. The host is very nice and accommodating. This property is back in a neighborhood. My first night there was some loud noises coming from the neighbors vehicle. Other than that the room is nice, the air conditioning is cold and the shower and bathroom were very nice. I walked about 10 minutes to some local restaurants.」

「The room was great… right across from the beach. Location is close to everything Clean room, great housekeeping. Friendly staff, quiet hotel. Just what we wanted. The beach is amazing. Maybe one small thing, the chairs and umbrellas, even if the hotel guests had priority, since it’s a public beach, priority is given to those that pay. Do make sure you secure your spots early, otherwise you may end up with no chairs or shade. 」

「My niece stayed at Joia in March 2026 and it did not disappoint. We were greeted with wash clothes to wipe our hands and was then given a yummy drink that had ginger in it. The lobby was beautiful. Kayla was warm and inviting when she checked us in. She told us, we were upgraded to a swim up room due to my Expedia status. The bellman was so nice that escorted us to our room.
